Update AfriNIC database | Data base user manual | Database FAQ (soon)

AfriNIC WHOIS Data base is where all information related to registered ressources are stored. This include information about Autonomous System Numbers( (ASN), IP addresses, Organisations that are associated with these resources and related Point of Contact (POC). [more]

The information in the AfriNIC Database is available to the public for agreed Internet operation purposes, but is under copyright .

A web interface for query is now available. You can also query AfriNIC database using a standard whois client on whois.afrinic.net (standard port 43).

You can, if you don't already have a client, download our whois client which give you more functionalities.

Update AfriNIC Database.

The AfriNIC Whois Database can be updated by sending e-mails to:
<auto-dbm@afrinic.net>
