How to apply for Resources in AfriNIC region

  1. Check if you meet the criteria for AfriNIC resources
  2. To see if your network meets the criteria for resources, see:

    Note: AfriNIC provides only IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, AS numbers, and reverse DNS delegations to networks in the AfriNIC service regions. AfriNIC does not do any domain name registration services

  3. Read the policies related to the resources you plan to request
  4. The main policy documents for resources are shown in the "Check your eligibility for resources" page described in step 1 above. You can also check our Document store

  5. If you are not already an AfriNIC Member (with an ORG-ID), you must fill and send a membership form to the membership service.
  6. For more information about AfriNIC Membership, read the document:


  7. Complete the appropriate request Templates.
